Jerseys Ads

I was doing a little reading on Emptynetters and found an article about former Pens goalie Andy Chiodo. Currently, Chiodo is playing in Finland, but it wasn't so much the thought of him playing in another country that shocked me. Hell, Belfour did it with the Leksand club in Sweden. Instead, here is what caught my eye.

The only thing with more Ad Space than Andy Chido is Dale Junior's racing car. Some people were a little peeved about the new Pens Jerseys taking away from the traditional look, but at least Sidney Crosby's game winning goal wasn't brought to us in part by Midas. Sure, the announcers will have sponsors for certain things, but it's just an eye sore to see it matted on a player's jersey.

Soccer does it (or football if you're from across the pond).
